FROM SMALL CIRCULAR Loop Roads TO EXTENDED HIKES: A WELL-DEVELOPED AND SIGNED NETWORK OF TRAILS AWAITS YOU.

The Vorarlberg state capital's uniqueness is - above all - characterized by the scenic combination of lake and mountain. The local mountain of Bregenz, the Pfänder, presents itself as an ideal opportunity to integrate hikes into leisure activities. The ascent of almost 600 meters in altitude is definitely worth it: the breathtaking view over Lake Constance, the Rhine Valley and the Swiss mountains makes you forget all the stress of everyday life. The summiteers are also rewarded with culinary delights. Numerous inns and snack bars around the mountain station provide the necessary refreshment for the descent, for further routes along the cheese trail or hikes over the Hochberg up to the Hirschberg.
