Nature Trail

The nature trail, which offers families a special experience, teaches the geological features of the Pfänder region at 30 stations and provides information in a playful way about the "forest habitat" in general. Its starting point is on the Gebhardsberg and from there it continues to the Fluh. With a length of 3.4 km, the nature trail enables children, but also adults, to acquire a sensitive understanding of this habitat.

Forest Adventure Path

The forest adventure trail with a length of 1.5 km was built primarily for children and is characterized by its numerous exercises, which focus particularly on playful learning and understanding. The nature trail runs from the Bregenz State Library and ends on the Gebhardsberg.

GEOLOGY TRAIL

The geology educational trail appeals primarily to those visitors who are interested in the history of the formation of the Gebhardsberg from a geological point of view. In six stations, the nature trail answers questions about soil conditions, rocks and sedimentation processes during the extraordinary formation of the imposing rock face on which the castle ruins are enthroned. The length of the path leading from Langener Straße up to Gebhardsberg is 0.5 km and promises breathtaking views during the steep but short climb.
